We're boat people now.

This is home, Pegasos the Trimaran.

We're parked at Rivergate Marina on the Brisbane river, about 4 km up from the mouth. Brisbane CBD is another 6 km upstream. Its a busy waterway. This huge monster cruise ship passed quite close to the end of the jetty where we are moored.

There's a rather spectacular bridge above us, which gets lit up in either yellow or blue every night.

We've spent four days on Pegasos now, cleaning and sorting and fixing a few small items and carting junk off to the skip and more cleaning and more sorting. Its been exhausting, but also great the we are here and we have a really nice cosy boat and we're making it our home.

There's lots of storage space on this boat. And it's all full of stuff.

We haven't posted any pictures of the inside of Pegasos yet because it's full of clutter and chaos, but we're getting there.  This is the cockpit !

Attending to a rigging problem ...

Now that we have new transport we've returned out trusty little Holden to Rent-a-dent.

We got good use out of this little car. Saw a lot of boats and got to do a bit of touring.  Some quite nice beaches here ...

And lots of great forest walks

We've been in Australia for a month now. All that time we've stayed in AirBnB rooms, which worked quite well for us. This was our favorite, Annabelle's cottage in North Brisbane.

But we're boat people now. There will be no more terrestrial transport or accommodation for us for the next five months.
